أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَی عَنْ بَيْعِ النَّخْلَةِ حَتَّی تَزْهُوَ وَعَنْ السُّنْبُلِ حَتَّی يَبْيَضَّ وَيَأْمَنَ الْعَاهَةَ نَهَی الْبَائِعَ وَالْمُشْتَرِيَ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 4566
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم forbade selling dates on the trees before they ripen, or selling ears of corn before the grains become visible and there is no fear of blight. He forbade that to the seller and the buyer. (Sahih)
