أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ نَاسًا مِنْ الْأَعْرَابِ کَانُوا يَأْتُونَا بِلَحْمٍ وَلَا نَدْرِي أَذَکَرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ أَمْ لَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اذْکُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَيْهِ وَکُلُوا
سنن نسائی · Hadith 4451
It was narrated from ‘Aishah that some Bedouin people used to bring us meat, and we did not know whether they had mentioned the Name of Allah (when slaughtering it) or not. The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم i said: “Mention the Name of Allah and eat.” (Sahih)
