أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ عَنْ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ نَهَی رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ إِمْسَاکِ الْأُضْحِيَّةِ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ کُلُوا وَأَطْعِمُوا
سنن نسائی · Hadith 4449
It was narrated that Abu Saeed Al-Khudri said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم forbade keeping the meat of the sacrificial animals for more than three days, then he said: ‘Eat and feed others.” (Sahih)
