أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ کُلَيْبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ قَالَ کُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبْلَ الْأَضْحَی بِيَوْمَيْنِ نُعْطِي الْجَذَعَتَيْنِ بِالثَّنِيَّةِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الْجَذَعَةَ تُجْزِئُ مَا تُجْزِئُ مِنْهُ الثَّنِيَّةُالْکَبْشُ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 4399
It was narrated that ‘Asim bin Kulaib said: “I heard my father narrating from a man who said: ‘We were with the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم two days before Al-Adhha and we started to offer two Jadh’ahs for one aniyah. Then the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘A Jadh’ah is sufficient for that for which a Thaniyah is sufficient.” (Sahih)
