أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ عَنْ سُفَيَانَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ حَبِيبٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ جُرَيِّ بْنِ کُلَيْبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا يَقُولُ نَهَی رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُضَحَّی بِأَعْضَبِ الْقَرْنِ فَذَکَرْتُ ذَلِکَ لِسَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ قَالَ نَعَمْ إِلَّا عَضَبَ النِّصْفِ وَأَکْثَرَ مِنْ ذَلِکَ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 4392
‘Ali said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم forbade us from sacrificing an animal with a broken horn.” I (the narrator) mentioned that to Saeed bin Al-Musayyab and he said: “Yes, unless half or more of the horn is missing.” (Hasan)
