أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ نَاصِحٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَکْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ نَهَی رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نُضَحِّيَ بِمُقَابَلَةٍ أَوْ مُدَابَرَةٍ أَوْ شَرْقَائَ أَوْ خَرْقَائَ أَوْ جَدْعَائَ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 4389
It was narrated that ‘Ali bin Ab Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم forbade sacrificing an animal with its ears slit from the front, an animal with its ears slit from the back, an animal with its ears slit lengthwise, an animal with a round hole in its ear, or an animal with its nose cut off.” (Hasan)
