أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَی عَنْ الْحُسَيْنِ وَهُوَ ابْنُ وَاقِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ وَعَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ و عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ عَطَائٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ أَطْعَمَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ لُحُومَ الْخَيْلِ وَنَهَانَا عَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 4344
It was narrated that Jabir said: “On the Day of Khaibar, the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم allowed us to eat the flesh of horses but he forbade us from the flesh of donkeys.” (Sahih).
