أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ عَمْرٍو وَهُوَ ابْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ نَهَی وَذَکَرَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ وَأَذِنَ فِي الْخَيْلِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 4342
It was narrated that Jabir said: “On the Day of Khaibar, the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم forbade the flesh of donkeys but he permitted the flesh of horses.” (Sahih)
