أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الذَّرَّاعُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحْصَنٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُصَيْنٌ عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ صَيْدِ الْمِعْرَاضِ فَقَالَ إِذَا أَصَابَ بِحَدِّهِ فَکُلْ وَإِذَا أَصَابَ بِعَرْضِهِ فَلَا تَأْکُلْ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 4322
It was narrated that ‘Adiyy bin Hatim said: “I asked the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم about hunting with the Mi ‘raصلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم i and he said: ‘If the sharp edge hits (the game), then eat, but if the broad edge of it strikes it, do not eat it.”(Sahih)
