أَخْبَرَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْخَلَّالُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الَّذِي يُدْرِکُ صَيْدَهُ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ فَلْيَأْکُلْهُ إِلَّا أَنْ يُنْتِنَ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 4318
It was narrated from Abu Tha’labah from the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم that the one who catches up with the game (he shot) after three days may eat from it, unless it has turned rotten. (Sahih)
