سنن نسائی · Hadith 4313
It was narrated that ‘Adiyy bin Hatim said: “I asked the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم about hunting and he said: ‘When you shoot your arrow, mention the name of Allah, and if you find that it (the game) has been killed, then eat it, unless you find that it fell into some water, and you do not know whether the water killed it or Your arrow.”(Sahih)
