أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ أَبِي نُخَيْلَةَ الْبَجَلِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ جَرِيرٌ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُبَايِعُ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ابْسُطْ يَدَکَ حَتَّی أُبَايِعَکَ وَاشْتَرِطْ عَلَيَّ فَأَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ أُبَايِعُکَ عَلَی أَنْ تَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ وَتُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةَ وَتُؤْتِيَ الزَّکَاةَ وَتُنَاصِحَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَتُفَارِقَ الْمُشْرِکِينَ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 4192
Jarir said: “I came to the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم , when he was accepting (the people’s) pledge, and said: ‘Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم, extend your hand so that I may give you my pledge, and state your terms, for you know best.’ He said: ‘I accept your pledge that you will worship Allah, establish Salah, pay the Zakah, be sincere toward the Muslims, and forsake the idolaters.” (Sahih)
