أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِسَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَکْوَعِ عَلَی أَيِّ شَيْئٍ بَايَعْتُمْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ قَالَ عَلَی الْمَوْتِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 4174
It was narrated that Yazid bin Abi ‘Ubaid said: “I said to Salamah bin Al-Akwa’: ‘What pledge did you make to the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم on the Day of Al Iludaibiyyah?’ He said: ‘For death.” (Sahih)
