أَخْبَرَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ ابْنِ حَيَّانَ يَعْنِي يَزِيدَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ قَالَ سَحَرَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْيَهُودِ فَاشْتَکَی لِذَلِکَ أَيَّامًا فَأَتَاهُ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام فَقَالَ إِنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ الْيَهُودِ سَحَرَکَ عَقَدَ لَکَ عُقَدًا فِي بِئْرِ کَذَا وَکَذَا فَأَرْسَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَاسْتَخْرَجُوهَا فَجِيئَ بِهَا فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَأَنَّمَا نُشِطَ مِنْ عِقَالٍ فَمَا ذَکَرَ ذَلِکَ لِذَلِکَ الْيَهُودِيِّ وَلَا رَآهُ فِي وَجْهِهِ قَطُّ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 4095
It was narrated that Zaid bin Arqam said: “A Jewish man cast a spell on the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم, and he fell ill as a result of it, for several days. Then Jibra’Il, peace be upon him, came to him and said: ‘A Jewish man has put a spell on you. In such and such a well there is a knot that he tied for you.’ The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم sent them to take it out and bring it to him. Then the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم got up as if he had been released from some bonds. No mention of that was made to that Jew, and he did not see that in his face at all.” (Sahih)
