أَخْبَرَنِي عِمْرَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ يَحْيَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَتَقَدَّمَنَّ أَحَدٌ الشَّهْرَ بِيَوْمٍ وَلَا يَوْمَيْنِ إِلَّا أَحَدٌ کَانَ يَصُومُ صِيَامًا قَبْلَهُ فَلْيَصُمْهُ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 2179
Samurah said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘Do not be confused by the Adhan of Bilal, or by this whiteness, until dawn appears like this” — meaning horizontally. (One of the narrators) Abu Dawud said: “And he spread out his hands gesturing to the right and left.” (Sahih)
