أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ عَنْ مَالِکٍ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ کَعْبٍ أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ کَعْبَ بْنَ مَالِکٍ کَانَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّمَا نَسَمَةُ الْمُؤْمِنِ طَائِرٌ فِي شَجَرِ الْجَنَّةِ حَتَّی يَبْعَثَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَی جَسَدِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 2079
Ka’b bin Malik used to that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلمsaid: “The soul of the believer is (like a bird) flying the trees of Paradise, until Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, sends it back to his body on the Day of Resurrection.” (Da’if)
