أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْکِينٍ قِرَائَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ عَنْ ابْنِ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِکٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا مَاتَ أَحَدُکُمْ عُرِضَ عَلَی مَقْعَدِهِ بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ إِنْ کَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَمِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنْ کَانَ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَمِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَيُقَالُ هَذَا مَقْعَدُکَ حَتَّی يَبْعَثَکَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 2078
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “When one of you dies, he is shown his place morning and evening. If he is one of the people of Paradise then he is one of the people of Paradise, and if he is one of the people of Hell then he is one of the people of Hell. It is said: ‘This is your place, until Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, raises you up on the Day of Resurrection.” (Sahih)
