أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ عَنْ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُرْوَةُ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعِنْدِي امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ الْيَهُودِ وَهِيَ تَقُولُ إِنَّکُمْ تُفْتَنُونَ فِي الْقُبُورِ فَارْتَاعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ إِنَّمَا تُفْتَنُ يَهُودُ وَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ فَلَبِثْنَا لَيَالِيَ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّهُ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ أَنَّکُمْ تُفْتَنُونَ فِي الْقُبُورِ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ فَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعْدُ يَسْتَعِيذُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 2070
It was narrated that ‘Aishah said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم came to me and there was a Jewish woman with me who was saying: ‘You will be tested in your graves.’ The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم got upset and said: ‘Rather the Jews will be tested.” ‘Aishah said: “A few nights later, the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘It has been revealed to me that you will be tested in your graves.” ‘Aishah said: “Afterward I heard the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم seeking refuge with Allah from the torment of the grave.” (Sahih)
