أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَکِ وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ إِسْحَقَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ شَيْبَانَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ أَنْبَأَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِکٍ قَالَ قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الْعَبْدَ إِذَا وُضِعَ فِي قَبْرِهِ وَتَوَلَّی عَنْهُ أَصْحَابُهُ إِنَّهُ لَيَسْمَعُ قَرْعَ نِعَالِهِمْ قَالَ فَيَأْتِيهِ مَلَکَانِ فَيُقْعِدَانِهِ فَيَقُولَانِ لَهُ مَا کُنْتَ تَقُولُ فِي هَذَا الرَّجُلِ فَأَمَّا الْمُؤْمِنُ فَيَقُولُ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولُهُ فَيُقَالُ لَهُ انْظُرْ إِلَی مَقْعَدِکَ مِنْ النَّارِ قَدْ أَبْدَلَکَ اللَّهُ بِهِ مَقْعَدًا مِنْ الْجَنَّةِ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَيَرَاهُمَا جَمِيعًا
سنن نسائی · Hadith 2056
Anas bin Malik said: “The Prophet of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘When a person is placed in his grave and his companions depart from him, he hears the sound of their sandals. Then two angels come to him and make him sit up, and they say to him: What did you say about this man? As for the believer, he says: “I bear witness that he is the slave of Allah and His Messenger. Then it is said to him: Look at your place in Hell, which Allah has replaced for you with a place in Paradise. The Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘And he sees them both.” (Sahih)
