أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنْ نُبَيْحٍ الْعَنَزِيِّ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلَی أُحُدٍ أَنْ يُرَدُّوا إِلَی مَصَارِعِهِمْ وَکَانُوا قَدْ نُقِلُوا إِلَی الْمَدِينَةِ

It was narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم commanded that those who had been killed at Uhud should be taken back to the place where they fell; they had been brought to Al Madinah. (Sahih)
