أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ سَمِعْتُ ذَکْوَانَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ تَرَدَّی مِنْ جَبَلٍ فَقَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ فَهُوَ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ يَتَرَدَّی خَالِدًا مُخَلَّدًا فِيهَا أَبَدًا وَمَنْ تَحَسَّی سُمًّا فَقَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ فَسُمُّهُ فِي يَدِهِ يَتَحَسَّاهُ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدًا مُخَلَّدًا فِيهَا أَبَدًا وَمَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ بِحَدِيدَةٍ ثُمَّ انْقَطَعَ عَلَيَّ شَيْئٌ خَالِدٌ يَقُولُ کَانَتْ حَدِيدَتُهُ فِي يَدِهِ يَجَأُ بِهَا فِي بَطْنِهِ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدًا مُخَلَّدًا فِيهَا أَبَدًا
سنن نسائی · Hadith 1971
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “Whoever throws himself down from a mountain and kills himself, he will be in the Fire of Hell, throwing himself down forever and ever. Whoever sips poison and kills himself, he will be in the Fire of Hell with his poison in his hand, Sipping it forever and ever. And Whoever kills himself with a piece of iron” — then I missed something, (one of the narrators) Khalid said — “will have his piece of iron in his hand, stabbing himself in the stomach in the Fire of Hell, forever and ever.” (Sahih)
