أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَعَی زَيْدًا وَجَعْفَرًا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَجِيئَ خَبَرُهُمْ فَنَعَاهُمْ وَعَيْنَاهُ تَذْرِفَانِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 1883
It was narrated from Anas that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم announced the news of the death of Zaid and Ja’far before news of them came. He announced their death and his eyes were overflowing with tears. (Sahih).
