أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَی عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ح أَنْبَأَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ ضَرَبَ الْخُدُودَ وَشَقَّ الْجُيُوبَ وَدَعَا بِدُعَائِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ وَاللَّفْظُ لِعَلِيٍّ وَقَالَ الْحَسَنُ بِدَعْوَی
سنن نسائی · Hadith 1865
It was narrated that ‘Abdullah said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: ‘He is not one of us who strikes his cheeks, rends his garment, calls out the calls of the Jahiliyyah.” (Sahih)
