أَخْبَرَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ صُبَيْحٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ سِيرِينَ يَقُولُ ذُکِرَ عِنْدَ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ الْمَيِّتُ يُعَذَّبُ بِبُکَائِ الْحَيِّ فَقَالَ عِمْرَانُ قَالَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 1854
It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin Subaih said: “I heard Muhammad bin Sirin say: ‘It was mentioned in the presence of ‘Imran bin Uusain that the deceased is Punished due to the weeping of the living.’ ‘Imran said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said it.” (Sahih)
