أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ عُمَرَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْمَيِّتُ يُعَذَّبُ بِبُکَائِ أَهْلِهِ عَلَيْهِ

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar, from ‘Umar, that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “The deceased is punished due to the weeping of his family for him.” (Sahih)
