أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا يُونُسُ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي السَّائِبُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ أَنَّ شُرَيْحًا الْحَضْرَمِيَّ ذُکِرَ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا يَتَوَسَّدُ الْقُرْآنَ

It was narrated that Az Zuhri said: “As-Sa’ib bin Yazid told me that Shuraih Al-HadramI was mentioned in the presence of the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم , and the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “He does not sleep on the Qur’an.” (Sahih)
