أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ يَحْيَی بْنِ أَبِي کَثِيرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ حَفْصَةَ حَدَّثَتْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ کَانَ يُصَلِّي رَکْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ بَيْنَ النِّدَائِ وَالْإِقَامَةِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ

Ibn ‘Umar narrated that Hafsah had told him that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم used to pray two brief Rak ‘ahs between the Adhan and the Iqamah of ubi prayer. (Sahih)
