أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عِيسَی قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زَکَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ کَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُوتِرُ بِثَلَاثٍ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْأُولَی بِسَبِّحْ اسْمَ رَبِّکَ الْأَعْلَی وَفِي الثَّانِيَةِ بِقُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْکَافِرُونَ وَفِي الثَّالِثَةِ بِقُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ أَوْقَفَهُ زُهَيْرٌ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 1707
Zakariyyabin Abi Za’idah narrated from Abu Ishaq, from Sa’id bin Jubair, that Ibn ‘Abbas said: “The Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم used to pray Witr with three Rak’ahs. In the first he would recite: “Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High;” in the second: “Say: you disbelievers!”; and in the third: “Say: He is Allah, (the) One.” (Sahih) Zuhair narrated it in Mawquif form.
