أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا وَعِنْدَهَا جَارِيَتَانِ تَضْرِبَانِ بِدُفَّيْنِ فَانْتَهَرَهُمَا أَبُو بَکْرٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَعْهُنَّ فَإِنَّ لِکُلِّ قَوْمٍ عِيدًا
سنن نسائی · Hadith 1598
It was narrated from ‘Aishah that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم entered upon her and there were two girls with her who were beating the Duff Abu Bakr scolded them, but the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم said: “Leave them, for every people has an Eid.” (Sahih)
