أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَشْعَثُ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي بَکْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ صَلَّی صَلَاةَ الْخَوْفِ بِالَّذِينَ خَلْفَهُ رَکْعَتَيْنِ وَالَّذِينَ جَائُوا بَعْدُ رَکْعَتَيْنِ فَکَانَتْ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْبَعُ رَکَعَاتٍ وَلِهَؤُلَائِ رَکْعَتَيْنِ رَکْعَتَيْنِ
سنن نسائی · Hadith 1560
It was narrated from Abu Bakrah that the Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم offered the fear prayer with those who were behind him, praying two Rak’ahs (with them) and two Rak‘ahs with those who came after them, so the Prophet prayed four Rak’ahs and the others each prayed two Rak’ahs. (Sahih).
