حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَبَّاسِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ زَارَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَبَّاسًا فِي بَادِيَةٍ لَنَا وَلَنَا كُلَيْبَةٌ وَحِمَارَةٌ تَرْعَى فَصَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعَصْرَ وَهُمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَلَمْ تُؤَخَّرَا وَلَمْ تُزْجَرَا
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 1797
It was narrated from 'Abbas bin 'Ubaidullah bin 'Abbas that al-Fadl bin 'Abbas said: The Prophet (PBUH)visited 'Abbas in an open plain that belonged to us. We had a small female dog and a donkey that was grazing, and the Prophet (PBUH) prayed 'Asr with both of them in front of him, and they were not made to move away or scolded.
