حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ كَانَ يَتَخَتَّمُ فِي يَمِينِهِ وَزَعَمَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَتَخَتَّمُ فِي يَمِينِهِ
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 1755
It was narrated from Abu Rafi', the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) that 'Abdullah bin Ja'far used to wear a ring on his right hand, and he said that the Prophet (PBUH) used to wear a ring on his right hand.
