حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نَافِعٍ يَعْنِي الصَّائِغَ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ عَنْ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً جَائَتْ إِلَی أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ قَالَتْ فَسَأَلْتُ لَهَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَعْنَاهُ قَالَ فِيهِ وَاغْمِزِي قُرُونَکِ عِنْدَ کُلِّ حَفْنَةٍ
سنن ابودوٗد · Hadith 252
Umm Salamah said: A women came to her, this is according to the version of the former tradition. I asked the Prophet ﷺ a similar question (as in the former tradition). But this version adds: “And wring out your locks after every handful of water”.
