حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَی بْنُ يَحْيَی وَإِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَاللَّفْظُ لِيَحْيَی قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ هِلَالٍ عَنْ فَرْوَةَ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ عَمَّا کَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّی اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدْعُو بِهِ اللَّهَ قَالَتْ کَانَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِکَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ

Farwa' b. Naufal Ashja'i reported: I asked: 'A'isha, in what words did Allah's Messenger ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ) supplicate Allah? She said that he used to utter: I seek refuge in Thee from the evil of what I did and from the evil of what I did not. Farwa' b.
