حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ كَأَنَّ الْأَذَانَ فِي أُذُنَيْهِ

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet (PBUH) used to pray the two rak'ahs before Fajr, (and then get up to pray the two rak'ahs of the obligatory prayer) as if the adhaan were still ringing in his ears.
