حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَنْ يَجْهَرَ الْقَوْمُ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ بِالْقُرْآنِ

It was narrated from 'Ali (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) forbade the people to raise their voices over one another when reciting Qur'an between Maghrib and Isha.
