حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ نُبَيْهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يَنْكِحُ الْمُحْرِمُ وَلَا يَخْطُبُ
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 496
It was narrated from 'Aban bin 'Uthman (RA) from 'Uthman (RA) who attributed it to the Prophet (PBUH), that [the latter] said: "The pilgrim in ihram should not get married or propose marriage."
