حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْبَيِّعَانِ بِالْخِيَارِ مَا لَمْ يَتَفَرَّقَا أَوْ يَقُولُ أَحَدُهُمَا لِصَاحِبِهِ اخْتَرْ
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 5418
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "The two parties to a transaction have the option (of cancelling it) so long as they have not separated, or one of them, says to the other: Choose (i.e v either go ahead or cancel).
