مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 5357

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet (PBUH) used to say: "The Muslim is the brother of his fellow Muslim; he does not wrong him or let him down." And he used to Say: "By the one in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, no two people become friends then get separated except because of a sin that one of them committed. And he used to say: "The Muslim is entitled to six acts of kindness from his brother: saying 'Yarhatnuk Allah (may Allah have mercy on you)' to him if he sneezes; visiting him if he gets sick; showing sincerity towards him (even) in his absence; attending his funeral prayer; greeting him if he meets him accepting his invitation if he invites him; and accompanying his bier (to the graveyard) if he dies." And he forbade the Muslim to forsake his brother for more than three (days).
