مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 5236
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that two men made a deal at the time of the Prophet (PBUH) concerning the crops of palm trees before the fruit appeared, then did not produce any yield. The Prophet (PBUH) said: "On what basis do you want to keep his money?" And he forbade selling crops until they have ripened.
