حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَيُّمَا نَخْلٍ بِيعَتْ أُصُولُهَا فَثَمَرَتُهَا لِلَّذِي أَبَّرَهَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَشْتَرِطَ الْمُبْتَاعُ
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 5162
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet (PBUH) said: If any date palm trees are sold, the crop belongs to the one who pollinated (the trees), unless the buyer stipulates otherwise."
