حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ كُلُّ بَيِّعَيْنِ فَأَحَدُهُمَا عَلَى صَاحِبِهِ بِالْخِيَارِ حَتَّى يَتَفَرَّقَا أَوْ يَكُونَ خِيَارًا
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 5158
It was narrated from Ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: " Each party to a transaction has the option (of cancelling it) so long as they have not separated, except in the case of bay' al-khiyaar (a transaction in which the purchaser has the option of returning the goods within an agreed period)."
