حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ عَنْ الرَّجُلِ يُطَلِّقُ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ فَقَالَ أَتَعْرِفُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ فَإِنَّهُ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ فَأَتَى عُمَرُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَأَلَهُ فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُرَاجِعَهَا ثُمَّ يُطَلِّقَهَا فَتَسْتَقْبِلَ عِدَّتَهَا
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 5121
It was narrated that Yoonus ibn Jubayr said: l asked Ibn 'Umar about a man who divorces his wife when she is menstruating He said: Do you know 'Abdullah ibn "Umar? I said’ Yes. He said: He divorced wife when she was menstruating, and 'Umar went to the Prophet (PBUH) and asked him (about that); the Prophet (PBUH) told him to take her back, then to divorce her (after she became pure), aft er which she could start sher Iddah.
