حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مِنْ أَيْنَ نُهِلُّ قَالَ يُهِلُّ أَهْلُ الْمَدِينَةِ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ الشَّأْمِ مِنْ الْجُحْفَةِ وَأَهْلُ نَجْدٍ مِنْ قَرْنٍ قَالَ وَيَقُولُونَ وَأَهْلُ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ يَلَمْلَمَ
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 5087
It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: A man said: O Messenger of Allah, from where should we enter ihram? He said: "The people of Madeenah should enter ihraam from Dhu'U Hulayfah, the people of Syria from al-Juhfah and the people of Najd from Qarn.” He said: And they say: The people of Yemen should enter ihraam from Yalamlam.
