حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو وَسَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ قَالَ مَرَرْتُ مَعَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَلَى طَرِيقٍ مِنْ طُرُقِ الْمَدِينَةِ فَإِذَا فِتْيَةٌ قَدْ نَصَبُوا دَجَاجَةً يَرْمُونَهَا لَهُمْ كُلُّ خَاطِئَةٍ قَالَ فَغَضِبَ وَقَالَ مَنْ فَعَلَ هَذَا قَالَ فَتَفَرَّقُوا فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ يُمَثِّلُ بِالْحَيَوَانِ
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 5018
5a’eed ibn Jubayr said: I walked With Ibn 'Umar in one of the streets of Madinah, and we saw some young men who had taken a hen as a target and were shooting at it, and they had agreed to give every arrow that tnissed to its owner. He got angry and said: Who did this? And they scattered. Ibn 'Umar said: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) cursed tte one who mutilates animals.
