مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 5007
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet (PBUH) said: "When you forsake jihad, take hold of the tails of cattle (and are content with farming), and enter into 'eenah transactions [1] , Allah will cause humiliation to prevail over you and will not withdraw it from you until you repent to AIIah and go back to what you following (your religion)."
