حَدَّثَنَا الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ أَبُو عَاصِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ عَنْ حَدِيثِ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّاسَ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُضْرَبُونَ إِذَا ابْتَاعُوا الطَّعَامَ جُزَافًا أَنْ يَبِيعُوهُ حَتَّى يُؤْوُوهُ إِلَى رِحَالِهِمْ

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: I saw people being said: I saw people being beaten at the time of the messenger of Allah (PBUH) if they brought foodstuff without measure then sold it on the spot, unless they moved it to their own places,
