حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَحِيرٍ الْقَاصُّ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ الصَّنْعَانِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ كَأَنَّهُ رَأْيُ عَيْنٍ فَلْيَقْرَأْ إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ وَ إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْفَطَرَتْ وَ إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ وَأَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ وَسُورَةَ هُودٍ
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 4934
'Abd ar-Rahmaan ibn Yazeed as-San'aani narrated that be heard Ibn 'Umar say: The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "Whoever would like to look at the Day of Resurrection as if he can see it, let him read: 'When the sun is wound round and lost its light and is overthrown' [al-Takweer 81], 'When the heaven is deft asunder' [al-Infitaar 82] and 'When the heaven is split asunder' [al-Inshiqaaq 84]" arid I think he said: "Soorat Hood."
