حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ الْمَغْرِبَ ثَلَاثًا وَالْعِشَاءَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ بِإِقَامَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ مَالِكُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْحَارِثِيُّ مَا هَذِهِ الصَّلَاةُ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ صَلَّيْتُهَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي هَذَا الْمَكَانِ بِإِقَامَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 4893
It was narrated from A'bdullah ibn Maalik that Ibn ‘Urnar said: I prayed with him (the Prophet (PBUH)) Maghrib with three rak'ahs and 'Isha' with two, with one iqaamah (for both), Maalik ibn Khaalid al-Haarithi said to him: What is this prayer, 0 Abu 'Abd ar-Rahmaan? He said: I prayed it with the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) in this place with one iqaamah.
