حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَكْرَهُ الِاشْتِرَاطَ فِي الْحَجِّ وَيَقُولُ أَمَا حَسْبُكُمْ سُنَّةَ نَبِيِّكُمْ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّهُ لَمْ يَشْتَرِطْ
مسند امام احمد بن حنبل · Hadith 4881
It was narrated from Ibn Umar that he disliked stipulating a condition in Hajj-[1] and he said: Is not the Sunnah of your Prophet sufficient for you? He did not stipulate a condition.
